Fall in Florida officially arrived and it felt great to have some lower humidity for a change. As you can see in our photos, our garden is starting to produce fruits and veggies. We welcome you to come out and walk around the garden to see what’s growing. Our fresh herbs are also loving the lower temps. The Meyer lemon trees have fruit on them as does the Papaya trees. These are available for purchase.
It’s not too late to start your Fall Garden. We are still offering our free Gardening Classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m. We show you how to plant the EarthBox and answer any questions you may have. We have posted a photo of what veggies and fruits we currently recommend planting this month.
Our strawberry plants will arrive around October 15th, we usually have about three different varieties that are sweet and grow well in this area.
If you prefer to have your boxes planted by us, bring them in and you can pick what you would like us to plant in them. We still have a large supply of starter plants and seeds. We have had a few calls asking for onion sets, we won’t have those and don’t recommend planting them until around November.
Hoping to see you soon and enjoy getting outside and gardening!
